These Terms govern your use of the Techweek website, our publication, and any event you attend or buy a badge for. By browsing the site, subscribing, or purchasing a badge, you agree to them. Read them — they cover tickets, refunds, conduct at events, and what you can do with our content.
Who we are
Techweek is an independent publication and live event series operated by Techweek Inc. ("Techweek", "we", "us"). "You" means anyone who visits the site, subscribes to the newsletter, or registers for an event.

Using the site & content
Our articles, photography, illustrations, and the Techweek name and marks are owned by Techweek or our contributors and are protected by copyright. You may read, share links, and quote short excerpts with attribution.
You may not republish whole articles, scrape the site, train models on our content, or use our marks without written permission.
Badges, tickets & registration
Each event offers one or more badge tiers. The access, perks, and price for each tier are described at checkout and are part of your purchase.
A badge admits the named holder only and may be subject to capacity, age, or venue requirements stated on the event page. We may verify identity at the door.
All prices are shown in USD and, unless stated otherwise, exclude applicable taxes and payment-processing fees, which are added at checkout.
Payment
Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details. Your purchase is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email with your badge and a unique entry code.
If a charge fails or is reversed, your badge may be voided until payment is resolved.
Refunds & transfers
Full refunds are available up to 7 days before an event. Inside 7 days, badges are non-refundable but transferable — forward your confirmation to a new holder, or release a free RSVP from your account so the seat reopens.
If we cancel or materially reschedule an event, you will be offered a full refund or a transfer to the new date.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.
Conduct at events
Techweek events are welcoming, professional spaces. Harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, or disruption is not tolerated and may result in removal without a refund.
Follow all venue rules and the instructions of Techweek staff. You are responsible for your own belongings.
Photography & recording
We photograph and sometimes record our events for editorial and promotional use. By attending, you grant Techweek permission to use your likeness in this material. Tell a staff member if you would prefer not to be photographed and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Newsletter & communications
If you subscribe, we will email you our publication and occasional event news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Transactional emails about a badge you purchased are not optional while the order is active.
Disclaimers & liability
The site and our content are provided "as is" for general information. Opinions of contributors are their own. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Techweek is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or attendance at an event.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the current version. Significant changes affecting purchases will be communicated by email where possible.
