Please read this agreement carefully. By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Techweek if you do not agree to adhere to all the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions:

  1. “Client” and “User”, refers to you, the person who logs onto this website and is compliant with the Site’s terms and conditions
  2. “Site”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to Techweek.

Techweek is a news publication focused on covering early-stage companies beyond Silicon Valley and sharing information and resources to help them succeed. We aim to cover innovative technology and companies from geographies where they are prominent, but our focus may change with changes to our editorial policies. We rely on authoritative sources and company websites to write profiles on innovative companies and startups, and occasionally conduct primary research and interviews with founders.

We welcome and solicit contributor content on the Site. Our authors sign a contract giving Techweek the exclusive right to publish, republish, distribute, and modify the original work product and its derivative work. We provide a by-line for all our authors along with their contributed content that is published on the website.

Based on editorial discretion, our team conducts research to find interesting companies and solicits articles for the same through its regular contributors. However, we reserve the right to publish articles on companies that reach out to us, as long as we feel that the company meets our selection criteria and editorial focus at the time.

The news articles published on our website are primarily based on secondary research conducted by our authors and vetted by our editorial team. We also publish information on the companies covered in our news stories that are available in the public domain, such as claims on their website or information available on digital databases. We make our best effort to ensure that all such research is accurately cited and hyperlinked to whatever degree is possible. We take care to try and name the publications that are relied on within the copy and have a strict policy against plagiarism of any kind. We occasionally conduct interviews of founders to inform our articles.

Any inaccuracy based on information we have sourced from elsewhere is regretted but is likely to be the consequence of a material change in circumstances, an error made by the source platform, or an inadvertent or unintentional mistake made by our authors. If you spot an error, you are requested to inform us as soon as possible at editor@techweek.com so we may take action to resolve it.

All quotes cited in our articles are based on published interviews of the attributed person or through interviews conducted by our authors. Any inaccuracy in our content based on such quotes is inadvertent and unintentional.

References and links to products and services from third parties are made on the website solely as a part of reporting about a specific company or entity, and do not indicate our endorsement of those products or services.
