Techweek Celebrates 100 Most Forward-Thinking Minds in LA Tech

CHICAGO, Nov. 1, 2016 — Techweek is pleased to announce its Techweek100 Los Angeles 2016, honoring 100 of the most prominent tech leaders and innovators in the greater Los Angeles area.

Brought to you by Media Temple, United Airlines, Loud Interactive, Glen Grant and Hogan Lovells, Techweek100 LA 2016 is awarded in three categories — Ambassadors, Innovators, and Cultivators — and honorees are selected based on their contributions to the local tech ecosystem.

Ambassadors are honored for their impact on the tech community through thought leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship. This year’s Ambassadors include: XYZ’s Daniel Negari, DIY Girls’ Luz Rivas, and HiFi Ventures’ Rishi Mallik.

Innovators, both startups and established organizations, are chosen based on their track record of pushing the envelope of what’s possible in tech innovation. This year’s Innovators include: Oculus, Hyperloop, and Iris.TV.

Cultivators are chosen for their support of the local tech ecosystem, which enables business formation and economic vitality. Our LA Cultivators include: the Goldhirsh Foundation, StartUp DTLA, and Greycroft Partners.
