Tim O’Reilly - WTF Book talk : What is the future when an increasing number of jobs can be performed by intelligent machines instead of people, or done only by people in partnership with those machines? Is income inequality and unemployment an inevitable consequence of technological advancement, or are there paths to a better future? Tim O’Reilly is the Chairman of O’Reilly Media, a leader in publishing and conferences in the global technology community. He co-launched MakeMedia and MakerFaires which later spun out of O’Reilly Media. He is the founding Chairman of Code for America and prolific speaker and author.

Karen Kerr PhD - Sr Managing Director GE Ventures: AI & Robotics Karen came to GE with two decades of experience in developing technology based businesses and venture investing. Prior roles included leadership at Intellectual Ventures, USC New Ventures Alliance, ARCH Venture Partners and founder of Agile Equities. An alumni in the charter class of the Kauffman VC Fellow.

Claire Lee - Managing Director SVB : Claire is the head of Silicon Valley Bank’s group dedicated to working with founders, entrepreneurs and pre Series A companies. Silicon Valley Bank works with more than 60 percent of the VC backed companies globally. Claire joined SVB in January 2014 from Microsoft Ventures and prior to this was with the corporate strategy team that created and launched Microsoft BizSpark program globally, with a focus on Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Erika Karp - Managing Director Cornerstone Capital NYC : Erika Karp is Founder and CEO of Cornerstone Capital Inc. The mission of the firm is to apply the principles of sustainable finance across the capital markets, enhancing investment processes through transparency and collaboration. Prior to launching Cornerstone, Erika was Managing Director and Head of Global Sector Research at UBS Investment Bank, served on the UBS Securities Research Executive Committee and the Environmental and Human Rights Committee of the UBS Group Executive Board. Erika is a founding Board member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Agenda Council on Financing and Capital.

Trevor Zimmerman - Managing Partner BlackHorn Ventures : Blackhorn Ventures is a venture capital firm specializing in growth capital investments. Blackhorn Ventures is based in Boulder, California with an additional office in Palo Alto, California.

Kathy Walker - Managing Partner OpenAire Equity Partners : A venture capital and private equity firm solely focused on the wireless, communications and mobile Internet sectors. She has nearly 30 years of carrier and wireless experience and is considered one of the top mobile network experts in the United States. Prior to joining OpenAir, Ms. Walker served in the dual role of chief information officer and chief network officer of Sprint Nextel. She serves on the Trustees’ Councils of Missouri University of Science and Technology and South Dakota State University.

Nick Bowden - Product Lead Sidewalk Labs : Sidewalk Labs is Alphabet Incs urban innovation organization. Focused on improving urban infrastructure through technology. SideWalk Labs committed $50 million to a year-long, joint-planning process with Waterfront Toronto and recently launched Replica providing the ability to detect changes in people movement and transportation use which will answer questions about land use at a regional and city block level. Previously Nick was the CEO of MySidewalk.

Brian Fitzpatrick - CEO of Tock/ORD Camp co-founder : Founder and CTO of Tock. Brian started Google's Chicago engineering office in 2005, and founded and led Google's Transparency Engineering team. Brian is the co-founder of an invitation only unconference held each January in Chicago for 350 of the coolest people across the country. Topics include work in fields of art, education, data visualization, software engineering, cooking, computer security and all emerging fields. A critical conference in creating a connected community.

Chris Moody - Foundry Group : A pioneer in developing data and platform strategies. Prior to joining the Foundry Group, Chris was CEO of GNIP sold to Twitter where he became the VP of Twitter’s data and enterprise. Prior to Gnip, Chris was at Aquent where he served in several executives roles including Chief Operating Officer where he was responsible for daily operations of 70 teams in 17 countries.

Wendy Lea - Techstars Board of Directors : Co-founder of which was acquired by Siebel Systems in 1999, board of Stratify’s acquired in 2007 by Iron Mountain, CEO of Get Satisfaction’s acquisition by Sprinklr. Currently, she is the CEO and serves on the board of Cintrifuse, a public-private partnership that enables high-growth startups to prosper in Cincinnati. Wendy also serves on the private venture-backed board of Zyleme, a learning content management company, based on Boulder.
