Techweek in short
A week of tech

A unique festival
Like Dallas itself, Techweek Dallas will be unique – featuring: 3 full concert nights with world famous artists like Matt and Kim, The Neighbourhood and others.
Techweek Dallas 2016 will be throughout the week, in multiple locations – featuring some of the undiscovered creative spaces of Dallas, but centered mostly in the world-famous Bomb Factory event space.
A burning question for Dallas
Techweek is on a mission to support technology ecosystems – to bring together the best people, ideas and resources to develop and celebrate the Dallas technology ecosystem on the national scene. We think Dallas is emerging as world-class tech center. Techweek Dallas is here to answer the simple question:
Dallas, do you have what it takes?
Spotlight: Summit speaker series
Techweek Dallas’s Summit speaker series will feature technology leaders from the most legitimate of growth companies: those who have aiming to change the world through disruptive and fast growth technology, especially those with roots or relevance to the Dallas technology scene.
Alexis is coming to make news
This year, we’re building out an unparalleled suite of speakers, not least of all our headline speaker Alexis Ohanian, perhaps best known as one of the Founders of Reddit, helping found Hipmunk and Breadpig. Most recently he made headlines for declaring he would not be among the first signing up to head to Mars with Elon Musk. This, how he hacked a community media business together from nothing, and what is going to the next disruptive trend to hit us.
Summit: Speakers with a point of view – and a purpose
Techweek believes technology ecosystems benefit from the sharing of knowledge: the know-how, the success stories of technology companies and their leaders that have demonstrated and ability to grow, to compete and to innovate. Therefore, we believe in finding companies and speakers relevant to the ecosystem, and discussing trends and disruption that matters to Dallas. Not just a collection of big names, come to Summit if you are looking to understand more.
Stay tuned as we continue to reveal more speakers as Techweek Dallas gets closer!
